HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Another new item....

Hope everyone is having a great Thursday! One more day till the weekend! (Yipee!) It's been really hot here in K-ville. Almost like Summer, it's still Spring, right?

Lately, I have been making lots of these...actually 21 sets in the last week or so. I have several different syles, including an appliqued star, crow and working on a sheep. Just started making the patchwork again and folks seem to love it. So do I! Picture doesn't do it justice. A few things left to finish and I think I'll call it a day. Glass of wine and an hour of TV...anyone else like the new show on ABC, Scandal, I believe it's called. I have enjoyed everyepisode so far.

Birthday Sale....

Well, another month is almost over and I have to wonder where does the time go??? April is always such a busy month at the Freshwater's...my husband and I celebrated 37 years together on the 10th, the 17th was the dreaded tax deadline and of course I was down to the wire on that one! Alex's birthday was the 15th, my mother-in-law turned 81 on the 23rd and is still working 40 hours a week!!! And we can't forget my birthday is tomorrow on the 27th...I seem to stay busy working on orders all the time, plus doing all the little day to day things that seem to make the days fly by!! You know... Dr's appointments, cooking, visiting, shopping, crafting, computing, etc... and I'm sure I have left out plenty, lol!! My days start early in the morning and most of the time,  last into the wee hours of the next.
I have a few things to share, but not real fond of this new format....I have several pictures to post, but things are a bit wonky....

Middle of March already.............

Good Evening Folks!

Once again time has gotten away with me and half of March is gone already. Early this morning as I was driving to an early Dr's appointment, it occured to me that 2012 is truly flying by. Easter will be here before we know it and as usual, I have never gotten around to making all the goodies that I have intended and (really) wanted to make for Spring. So many ideas, so little time.

I do have tons of homespun eggs for a real bargain price. This bowl has only part of what I have ready. I do love them in this "re-do" bowl. Thi would make a great centerpiece!

I am also making these banners.......this is one of my favorites so far....it would be perfect on a double window and it can be hung with straight pins , if necessary.

I also have  Crow (with crows), Welcome (with Pineapples), USA (with flags) plus a few more. I'll try to post pics as they're finished. I think last names and kids names would be great!



These are made from a thin wood, painted, stenciled, sanded and antiqued to look old. Strung together and tied with jute. Lightweight enough to hang almost anywhere! I will also do custom!!

Also I'm going to be posting new goodies at my web site. Look for those in the next few days...

Before I close, I wanted you all to see my living room. We got new furniture back in November, so I had to make a few changes. I had to be practical  with fabric choices, cause of the kittys, but we really love the new look. The sofa is the perfect size for the room and I love the slight camel back. This was taken in December when the Christmas tree was up, so it is a bit different now. I'm still doing a bit of tweaking and I'll share those another day.

Hello Again!

I can't believe it's been sooo long since I have posted! As usual, life happens and I got lost in my own little crafting world! I hope everyone is doing well in this New YEAR! We are all doing great here! Staying very busy and loving every minute of it! As I have said many times before, I am so Blessed...I have the absolute BEST customers in the world!
