Friday evening.....

I finally got up to Pilot Mountain this week...got my booth up there  filled up with Prim goodies. It's been quite a while since I have been up there. My booth was getting a little bare. But, no more!!! In addition to all my handmades, I have found someone to share my space there. Terri from King has added antiques and "old stuff"! This is so exciting for me as I have never had it full all at one time. I haven't seen it, but I'm postive our treasures go together well. If you get a chance, go by Pilot Mountain Peddlers....Tammy has a great collection of Prims!

Craft Supply Question????????

Happy Thursday !

I have been planning to ask this and can't ever seem to remember when I am posting....so I thought of it just now.

For those of you gals that can't get the Green Box of Fiberfill (stuffing) any more from Walmart, what are using now??? I have tried all that Walmart has now in the bags, but it's not EVEN close to what I'm used to. I don't mind stuffing pillows with the soft fluffy "stuff", but I don't care for it in dolls, stars, hearts and such. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! I have Hobby Lobby, Michaels, JoAnn's, AC Moore and Hancock's that I can check out. Just thought someone out there could save me some time. I know there must be others out there looking for a replacement.

Happy Mother's Day...

Wishing all Mom's out there a wonderful Mother's Day!

What a beautiful day we are having in NC. A bit cooler and a little breezy, but all in all, almost a perfect Spring day! Just waiting for Cait and her boyfriend to come by for a short visit. I didn't make it to my Mom's today, but we did talk on the phone. I'll go down there in a few days to visit. Dad wasn't feeling well and I thought it best to let him rest.

I have a couple things to tell you all. I have finally worked a bit on my web site. Almost all the Discontinued and Limited items are gone. I am trying to get all the categories with JUST two pages of items. I think that it will be easier for customers to find what they're looking for and to see what I have to offer. I didn't realize that I had 5 or 6 pages under some categories. I'll continue to work on it in the next few days as time permits. I can't seem to find the time I need to do all that I want to. Changes are a comin'.......

Hope everyone is doing well this weekend! Can you believe that May is aleady here? Such a beautiful time of year....birds are singing, grass is green, flowers are blooming! Life is good!

I have some web site news to share. After much thought and consideration of the rising cost of materials, I have decided to make some changes and discontinue several categories over at my web site, along with some products that are getting too expensive for me to offer at a reasonable price. It has been a very difficult decision, but one I feel I must make at this time.

I will continue to offer a generous selection of handmade prims that hopefully will appeal to all. While I am working on new projects-there are numerous items that I have decided to mark down to clearance prices.

Early Sunday Evening.......

How's everyone this evening? We have been kinda looking out for bad weather again today, but so far just some clouds and a little windy. And that's just fine with me. We had some pretty hard rain early this morning and I think it woke up everyone in the house....

Sorry I haven't been posting as much....I'm finding it harder and harder to get here on a regular basis anymore. Do y'all think it's just the time of year??  I try to catch up on everyone when I can, but lately I have been really busy and I still haven't gotten used to the new monitor.

I had a little accident early in the week....okay, it was actually a really stupid move on my part. I was walking down my hallway and tripped over Mr. Jake. I chipped one tooth and cracked another in three places. I spent the better part of two days at the drs trying to figure out what to do. While I was there, realized this whole thing with being anemic has affected my teeth as well. What a Bummer!! I have to go to a specialist and have a root canal and a crown. Hopefully, the chipped one can be filled.  I am going to talk to another Dr. tomorrow and see what he says. Keep your fingers crossed that it's not as bad as my dentist thinks.

I have finally added a few new things to my web site and to Etsy. April has been a surprisedly busy month for me. I am actually a little behind on shipping orders. If you have something ordered, I should be shipping the last of the late ones on Monday and Tuesday. Usually it's pretty slow this time of year and I can do things around my house for me, but not this year. ( This is a Blessing) I actually have bought paint to do a couple of rooms, but haven't had time. But that's ok....
