Happy Saturday!

 

It's a chilly morning here Kernersville. Once again, I have gotten up way too early for a Saturday. I have so much to get done this week-end, so I guess my brain thinks I can get by on a few hours sleep. My front porch is still decorated for Fall and that definately has to go away today. Our tree will be going up in the living room as soon as we re-arrange things a bit to make room.

I'm also working on a few orders and some new things too. Hubby made a trencher/dough box last week-end, but I haven't painted it yet. It turned out great and I would love to keep it for myself, but it's already sold. Here's something new for me....

 

 



It fits on the back of your toilet. Actually pretty cool idea!

 

 

I'm looking for some ideas on what to do with this...anybody had one?

 

It's quite large and very heavy, but I think it has potential!

Thanksgiving Sale....

Happy Saturday to all! I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and it continues through the week-end and always! Catey, Marc, Amity, Dave, Miss Elle, Alex, Mom, Dand and my niece Jennifer all shared a great meal together and had a chance to really catch up on the latest. It was the first time we had been together for a meal in quite a while. Everyone commented on what a nice gathering it was. Personally, I was BLESSED to have my parents with us! They are soooo special to me. They just celebrated 60 years of marriage!! Can WE even imagine that? That alone is something to be so THANKFUL for!

Before I close, I have to share two VERY SPECIAL loved ones with you all! Three years ago today these little brothers adopted us from the Guilford County shelter. I can not tell you the joy they have brought into our lives. 

Jake is the largest of the two. He is beautiful! and a Sweetheart!

 Jackson is my Baby! He is my purr-box! Always around and in my lap every chance he gets! If you ever get the chance...check out your local shelters.

Happy Thanksgiving and more pics....

Thanksgiving is almost here.....once again in the middle of my busiest time of year, I'm having folks in my house. LOL! I suppose after turkey, I can put everyone to work! Wonder who would like to do the sewing and painting? It'll be fine, I'm sure. Just need to finish up a few orders today, get the house cleaned, run to the store for last minute ingredients for a brocolli salad and make sure the turkey is ready to be cooked.

a few new things.....

I have been busy making a few new things....here's some pics

This is a big guy, over 30 inches tall and a special order for a special customer.I used a pattern from Old Homestead Barn. Love how it looks on my old shutter, but can't keep him :(

Believe it or not, this guy is pretty great in person. Over 20 inches tall and much grubbier than he looks....partially stuffed with rags for a nice heavy feel.

 

 

Nice big sign at 22(+) x 7.5 inches in size. Love the black with ivory lettering.
