Sunny Saturday..........

It's a beautiful day so far in K-ville. We are getting ready to go eat breakfast and then do some errands. Later, we are meeting up with my parents to help them pick out a new computer........they have worn out the one they have, number 3, I think. They have really both learned alot about computing in their old age. LOL!! Mom does a lot of vitamin and herb research, Dad keeps in touch with folks and they both play a few games. I think it helps keep their brains sharp, plus helps them from getting so bored when they can't get out.
And after that, my sister is coming into town for a visit. I have made a few things for her to pick up for her craft booths. She is really getting in to sewing these days...wish she would try something on line. I think folks would really like her old, grungy, attic look. And most of her "stuff" is one of a kind and that makes it more special.

~~~~~~~~~~
We have decided to have a DAILY SPECIAL at Homespun and Primitives web site. There will be a different item every day thru June. The featured sale items will change every few days. You don't what you might find there, so check back often.
Today, it is grungy homespun hearts.....
Only $6.99 for a set of 13!!!
Talk to y'all later!
OOAK Goodies To Share.......
HAPPY SUNDAY Y'ALL!!
Brrrr! I saw that someone else started out their blog this way and thought it very fitting....it is so bitterly cold here. Temperatures haven't been this low in a long time. It's about 27 degrees here right now, but this morning it was 17 or 18 when I looked at the thermometer. Way too cold for me. And it's supposed to be that way for all this week!!! Have I mentioned that I hate cold weather??? I will be staying in all week, drinking hot drinks and crafting, crafting, crafting. So happy that I have lots to do this week and hubby goes back to work. Yey!
Simple Woman's Daybook
Better late than never, huh? Just got around to doing this for today. I had a very busy day, but one of my resolutiuons was to try and do this on a regular basis, SO................
FOR TODAY January 26th, 2009...
Outside My Window only a slight breeze and it's dark except for the gas light, I see a couple walking up the street, arm in arm...
I am thinking it's been a very short day and it's later than I thought...
I am thankful for friends that like to talk on the phone and listen to my woes...
From the kitchen, dinner has long since passed and everything is washed and put away...
I am wearing black jeans, black turtleneck and RED pullover sweater ...
I am creating nothing very exciting, but thinking about some new stitcheries ...
I am going to get finished with my chores, have a cup of tea and get ready for bed...
I am reading the brand new Country Sampler magazine...
I am hoping that my test results are better tomorrow...
I am hearing faint TV sounds coming from the bedroom...
Around the house I need to paint a few frames for the hallway, make a few pillows for my bed and the number one thing is finish my craft space....
One of my favorite things lately is looking at other prim homes and reading about them...
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: finish some orders, go to the doctor (again) and make some things for Spring.
Bakers Dozen Grungy Homespun Hearts
These will be available soon on my web site at a bargain price!
