Beautiful Sunday with lots of Bargains.....

The weekend is almost over and I have accomplished so much. My craft room/studio is almost completely organized, plus I am sewing bonnets and pumpkins this afternoon. Such a nice feeling to sew where the floor is clear and shelves are dusted. Pretty soon, I'll be sharing pics of a newly painted room, at least I hope so. During all the cleaning, I have discovered several books, leaflets, fabrics and more that I know in my heart I will never use and have decided to part with. Here are a few things to start with:

Each one of these books are filled with tons of projects and detailed instructions.

Another Snowy Friday................

I can't believe another week has shot by...between Drs.appointments (mine and going with my Mom and Dad), my niece having her twins, Saydee and Sawyer to go along with ShyAnn and Skyler (all S's, six letters and all have a Y, cute huh?) working on orders, picking up supplies and making a trip on Thursday to Pilot Mountain and Fancy Gap.....and to top it off we are supposed to get another significant amount of SNOW this weekend.
It's barely 7:00 here and the grass is covered, but none on the sidewalk or streets. They (don't exactly know who they are???) decided earlier today to close schools 2 hours early and cancel evening activities all around the Triad. We went out to dinner beause I was afraid we'd be stuck in the house all weekend. There were lots of folks out and about, even in the pouring Snow. I'll post some pics tomorrow.......

 First of all, Tammy has some great things in the Peddler Store at Pilot Mountain. Here's a few things that I forgot to share last time I was there.

This great little candleholder...

Rusty hanging candleholder....

Wall or lap quilt, Jackson not included....and not to forget Jake

Aren't they getting big???

~~~~~~~~~
I found this on Thursday as well...at one of the Antique stores.
I couldn't resist it. It has a heart logo on it....
~~~~~~~~~~

Then on to Fancy Gap to take this....

If any of you guys are near Crockett's Country Store, it is well worth the drive! Right now, they have a huge selection of braided rugs, enamelware (ON SALE) and little kitchen table sets. The store is decorated for Valentine's Day and looks great!!! Betty and Dan are always there to answer questions and offer plenty of decorating ideas!!

I got these few things while I was there....

I'll show you soon where the enamelware strainer is going. Love, love, love these little bunches of flowers. The leaves remind me of fun foam that my kids used to play with. The label is going on a large jar my Mom saved for me.

~~~~~~~~~~
I didn't realize this was going to be so long. Just a couple more things and then I'm off to finish a project.
I put a few new things on my web site yesterday and I am so excited!!! I sold three of these almost as soon as I got it on there. Turned out really CUTE!!!
Accessories shown are not included...
and have already sold one of these
Round table bench/riser..........
Stay warm and safe. I'll be back soon with some other projects.......
Hugs,
Shari
a WeeK hAs GoNe By.............
It's been a while since I have had a chance to sit and blog. I am trying my dangest to get caught up with orders. It's almost time for vacation and I'm excited about getting away for a little while. We have found someone to house sit and watch after Ruffie, so I can RELAX. Wish we could take him with us, but he doesn't travel well....
Thought y'all might like to see more of my projects....
Sugar cones in different sizes........
Mini colonial paddle and hearts....
Bought this star months ago and have never hung it up or anything. Decided to repaint it this mustard color and I love it! I'll show you later where I ended up hanging it.
I had a special request for a long skinny sconce wrapped with rusty tin. I only had a little bit of tin left, so I made Tina one and this one for myself. (Wish I could find those 9 x 12 sheets of rusty tin from Darice, I think.)
S/O stitchery for Deb...She loves it already!!
Pillow, dough board and twigs...
Special order mini signs....
More signs and a Special order bird.....
A Goodwill plate re-do, love the way it turned out....think I'll keep this for myself! LOL!
New kitty on my web site..........
Family sign.....
Loved the way this turned out! Cait made the crow pattern for me and I came up with the perch for him.
New little star with candle....
Special request little shadow box, about 8 x 8 inches in size.
Little shadow box backed with chicken wire. I'll be putting this on my web site soon. I think it would be soooo cute to have little seasonal goodies in it. You know like a pumkin, heart, snowman and maybe a star. Just haven't had time to work on it yet.
Cutting boards....
Table benches in three sizes...
Not much time to chit-chat, but wanted to show some pics.
Be back soon!
Hugs,
Shari
