Good Morning Folks!

 

Tuesday is here and I'll be spending most of the day in the workshop making signs, boxes and shelves. If there's any time left, I would like to work on some big, tall pumpkins and candy corn. I haven't made the 24 inch tall ones in a long time. But, we'll see. It has been getting so hot out there that I work for short periods and spend so much time running back and forth to stay cool.

Love this prim chalkboard. Really nice size at 18 x 11.25 inches.

She's too cute tucked in a cupboard. Her wings are an old quilt.

Doing a lot of designs with my embroidery machine these days. This is a sweet pillow tuck. About 10 x 10 inches in size with your choice of initials.

These are so sweet for Fall.........

And everybody always loves the witch shoes. I've already made 7 or 8 sets and have orders for more.

Monday Morning...

Good Morning!

 

This morning I'm going to share just a few pics, drink my coffee and get going on a few projects!

 

 

I used to make these potpourri jars a long time ago.... Back then, mayo came in glass jars and I used those. I had to buy jars this time. One of my customers saw one in my picture folder and loved it, so I thought why not. Also, I used a grungy tea lite instead of a candle. New idea to use embroidery... and I love the way the little star turned out...think I'll do some Christmas ornaments this way.  

 

Another one of my new favorite things to do...grungy boards with cookies. I've done several now.

This one is not as bright in person as it looks here.

This one is dark burgundy over black. Very prim!

Sunday Morning....

Good Morning Folks!

 

Another weekend is almost over and Summer is slowly slipping away. Fall is just around the corner and I still have lots of pumpkins, crows and candy corn to make for orders. Anybody else remember when folks used to decorate for Fall in September? Nowadays, folks have already started putting out their decorations. It seems a little early to me when it was 99 degrees here one day last week. I suppose if I'm making Fall goodies now, they might as well be decorating with it.

Saturday morning....

Good Morning Folks!

Well, I must be on a roll! LOL! I have managed to make it here 2 days in a row. We have a busy day today and I have to finish this cup of coffee and get going.
But first, I have a couple of things for you to see...

These are ny new "OLDE" LARD SCOOPS! They are so cool! Different sizes and shapes to hang from a peg or a nail would work too.

 

I love, love, love these! So fun to make and each one is so different! Perfect in an old wood bowl...

 

These turned out pretty cool too! Great tucked in a cupboard as shown with fixins'!

Friday morning....

Well, once again I have fallen so far behind on my daily duties, LOL! I'm thinkin' I need to start working "SMARTER" instead of "HARDER"...it's been well over a month since I have posted and actually I miss it...I had so many issues with my computer and my email went wonky for awhile and had to change passwords, re-open accounts and actually open new email accounts. No Fun for me, when I was already strapped for time.
But, all is well now and I have up-dated my web site with lots of new goodies and hope to get back to a semi-normal life.
Summer is definately here in NC, but everyone is talking FALL. I've already shipped so many orders of Fall goodies...pumpkins, candy corn, Signs and more.

These are so neat in person. Great to tuck in a cupboard.

Love, love, love this look! Faux cookies are a huge hit for me along with the grungy board.

Folks are loving these grungy pumpkins! They come in black and a wonderful rusty/orane color. All grubbied up, of course.

This one is huge-about 22 inches across. Perfect fit for a mantle or long shelf.

First Sunday in June.....

Good Morning Folks!

 

I blog this morning with a new found feeling of being so Blessed to have friends and family that are so special to me. After a visit with my Mom and Dad, I realize that most folks are not as fortunate as we are. My Dad is in his early 80's and Mom is not far behind...they have truly had an amazing life together and taught me lessons that I hope to pass on to my children and grandchildren. They have lived life to the fullest and have no regrets....how many can say that? I hope I can.

Already June, can you believe it??? My hubby was on vacation all this past week and it just flew by. There were so many things that were on the "honey do" list, but we never got around to doing. But, we enjoyed our time together and that's more important.

 

I'm making plans for a big June around here! My web site Anniversary is coming up soon. 9 years!! Yep, 9 years that I have been pluggin' away with it. Lots of my friends (and acquaintances) have had web sites that have come and gone over the years...but here I am. The neat part is...I have been doing this most of my life and I probably love crafting and creating more than I ever have. And to be honest, I have grown so much as a crafter....constantly learning!

I've been making more new "OLDE" goodies and I'll share those in a day or two...but I wanted to share the "DEAL of the Day".
