Feeling like FALL.......

I think FALL is finally trying to arrive in K-ville! It actually has cooled off and it just feels like Fall is close by. Personally, I like the cooler days...it has been so hot here this summer. It's nice to see folks bringing out their Fall decor and pumpkins. For a while there, I thought no one else was going to....

I decided the other day to cut up one of my quilts to make some things. I had pondered for months on what to make out of it....wanted to have a plan before I cut it. Finally decided on a few pin keeps, pillows and a few new things.
Sawdust Pillows....
wood star with old quilt pocket.....
muslin sheep with old quilt pocket.....

Last week, I got around to making this bear....I have been wanting to make one for ages and just never got around to it. I found this piece of plush felt that I have moved around to several different houses and decided it was time. The pattern is from Sweet Meadows Farm...I realize that mine looks different than the pattern, but I think he's pretty cool anyway....

I made his legs floppy so he could be posed in different positions. There's another one in the works...just needs eyes. I'll share him later.

Well, chilli's cooking and almost ready to eat, so I'm gonna run for now! Thanks for stopping by and I would love to hear from you guys!!

Hugs,
Shari

Shari,
I bet it feels so good to complete the projects you've been thinking about for ages! They are all great, but I really like the sheep! Fall is here in Wisconsin --the leaves are very colorful, and some areas even had frost last night. Put my outdoor decorations out today.

Everything looks great!! Sheep are one of my favs since we raise sheep. The bear is adorable, I have that pattern and have never made it. I have a lot of those patterns. 8-)

Very nice Shari! They are all so cute but my favorite is the sheep... it is so sweet! I love the cozy and warm feeling that the quilt gives your hand mades.

I have collected bears since I was in middle school (many, many years now, hehe) and my favorite ones are the home made ones. You know there is much love put into each one. Yours is so very cute, love him!
