Early Sunday Evening.......
How's everyone this evening? We have been kinda looking out for bad weather again today, but so far just some clouds and a little windy. And that's just fine with me. We had some pretty hard rain early this morning and I think it woke up everyone in the house....

Sorry I haven't been posting as much....I'm finding it harder and harder to get here on a regular basis anymore. Do y'all think it's just the time of year?? I try to catch up on everyone when I can, but lately I have been really busy and I still haven't gotten used to the new monitor.~~~~~~~~~~
I had a little accident early in the week....okay, it was actually a really stupid move on my part. I was walking down my hallway and tripped over Mr. Jake. I chipped one tooth and cracked another in three places. I spent the better part of two days at the drs trying to figure out what to do. While I was there, realized this whole thing with being anemic has affected my teeth as well. What a Bummer!! I have to go to a specialist and have a root canal and a crown. Hopefully, the chipped one can be filled. I am going to talk to another Dr. tomorrow and see what he says. Keep your fingers crossed that it's not as bad as my dentist thinks.~~~~~~~~~~
I have finally added a few new things to my web site and to Etsy. April has been a surprisedly busy month for me. I am actually a little behind on shipping orders. If you have something ordered, I should be shipping the last of the late ones on Monday and Tuesday. Usually it's pretty slow this time of year and I can do things around my house for me, but not this year. ( This is a Blessing) I actually have bought paint to do a couple of rooms, but haven't had time. But that's ok....

chilly Sunday............
A little bit chilly on this bright, sunny Sunday! But, yesterday was a beautiful day here in NC. We went to my daughter's house to celebrate Alex's birthday. It's hard to believe that he is already six years old! He has gotten so tall in recent weeks and looks more and more like his father.
It was such a nice gathering just for grandparents and great-grandparents. They had the kids over earlier in the day. I took several pictures, but I'm not going to post them here. I'm not as comfortable doing that anymore. They cooked hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill and the food was fabulous. Am had made two cakes, one for the kids that she went all out and decorated and a yummy chocolate one for the adults.
Afterwards, we had to go on a hunt for a new monitor for my computer! Mine died sometime between going out for breakfast and getting ready for the afternoon party. The screen went all white, which I found interesting. No warning or anything!! Now let me tell you, I DO NOT like change!! Bill and I must have gone to six or seven stores looking for a 17" or 19" square type monitor like I had. There's not one to be found!! Everything is widescreen, so I had to settle for one that I am not real happy with at the moment! I probably could have gone on Ebay and found the old style, but hubby says I am going to have to adjust eventually, so I might as well do it now. As of this posting, I really don't care for it....maybe I'll take it back and get a larger one.
I did find one good thing yesterday....after we went to breakfast, we did a little shopping. Just happen to find a new camera that I'm hoping will be just what I needed! It's only 8.2 mega pixels, so hopefully I won't have to re-sie all the pictures for my web site.
I have been wanting one with a lithium battery for ages. The old camera I had would go through batteries so quickly that sometimes I couldn't keep them charged. So I wanted to try something different. We found a fabulous bargain on a Kodak with all accessories AND it's RED! I was so excited to find it. It'll be interesting to see if I can learn to use it like the other one I have. My old one is so old that I have to tape the door shut and jiggle it to get the view finder out. Jackson knocked it out of my hands a couple of weeks ago and broke it. But, it had been a good one for a long, long time.

Friday....customer pics to share
Good Mornin' !
After many days of warm temperatures, it has turned chilly again! I thought I was going to freeze on Wednesday, had to pull out a turtleneck again. LOL!! Yesterday was warmer, I needed only a cotton sweater. The pollen is not as bad as it has been, tho my car has a slight yellow film. It's 58 degrees now and it's not 8:00 am yet! I'm hoping the sun shines all day....I have several things I need to take outside and paint.

Tuesday morning....
Good Tuesday Morning To All!
It's lovely, sunny day in Kernersville. The kind of day that screams for you to be outside, not too hot, not too cold. I took a few things out to dry in the sun, but I don't have time to work outside today! I'm working on a huge wholesale order that will probably take days to finish! But that's a good thing for me!!!
