Shari's Friday Favorites

When I first crawed out of bed this morning, it was a little drippy and droopy outside. But, as the morning has progressed...the sun came out and I thought to myself, this might be an okay day. As lunch time approached it was pouring down rain and the wind was blowing. It was like this most of the day, until dinner time. The rain has finally stopped, but it seems cold to me in the house.

Hubby has been on vacation (again) today. I had a few things planned for him to do, but they didn't pan out, so maybe next time. I got early as I usually do and looked around at a few blogs. I think I have finally figured out how to blog everyday. Just get up 2 hours early and you'll have plenty of time to read and post. LOL!!

We went to breakfast and had a really nice time. We ran in to some friends and had a nice visit...Then on to Lowes looking for new kitchen light fixtures. I must say it wasn't as much fun as I would have liked. Even less for Bill I think. We couldn't find anything that would work. We need three and I would like for them all to co-ordinate. One over the sink, one ceiling mounted and one hanging one tol go over the table. This is harder than you might think. I want a black finish and everything that I thought I could use was the wrong finish. Bill's not too thrilled about buying new fixtures and the thought of painting them is just not in the plan. But, we'll see......

All you items look wonderful. Love the red pot for sure. It sounds like you are very busy with your orders...that's good, especially in this economy.
Have a great day!!!
